Bon Voyage 4th Grade

Dear Parents and Students,

What a fun first week we had getting to know each other, the Bobcat Big 3, and adjusting to 4th grade routines and rules. The best part of the week was the little moments we shared laughing together at the day's events. Your students are absolutely amazing! I am so lucky to be their teacher this year. I know we will learn and grow lots together!

Thank you for taking time to visit during our Back-to-School Night on Wednesday. It was a pleasure to meet each of you with your super students. I hope you have felt welcome and comfortable to contact me with any questions, concerns, or celebrations.

I have a great passion for teaching with its contagious learning experiences. It is magical to help children explore the world of reading adventures, mathematical puzzles, captivating historical events, science discoveries, art creations, and everyday wonders. I find in return I am a student to their magical ideas. I love the watching the twinkles and sparkles of growing as my students change throughout the year. Thank you for letting me be a part of their magical journey of discovery.

This week we jump into the beginnings of our 4th grade core curriculum with the following goals:

Reading: story elements- setting, characters, plot

Spelling: Long/short a

Writing: Writing process

Math: Graphs

Science: Utah Environments: Wetlands

Social Studies: Maps and globes
